Z Gallerie window curtains frame the windows and soften the architecture of a room. The collection spans solid and patterned styles, velvet and linen, lined and unlined panels, and lengths from standard ready-made to fully custom. Each set is designed to add color, texture, and a finished feel to the windows.

Curtains do more than block light; they make a room feel intentional. Hang panels high (close to the ceiling rather than just above the window) to make the room feel taller, and wide (extending past each side of the window) so they don't block light when open. Floor-pooling or just-kissing the floor reads most polished.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long should curtains be?
Measure from the rod to the floor and choose a length that just touches the floor or pools slightly. Standard lengths are 84, 96, and 108 inches. Hanging the rod higher (4 to 6 inches above the window frame, or closer to the ceiling) makes the room feel taller.
How wide should curtain panels be?
Choose panels that together total about two to two-and-a-half times the width of the window so they look full when closed and gather softly when open. Two panels (one per side) work for most windows. Wider windows may need additional panels.
Should curtains be lined?
Lined curtains drape better, hang heavier, last longer, and block more light. For bedrooms where light control matters, lined or blackout-lined panels are usually preferable. Unlined curtains let more light through and read airier, which suits living rooms and dining rooms.
How do I install a curtain rod for the best look?
Mount the rod about 4 to 6 inches above the window frame, or higher toward the ceiling to make the room feel taller. Extend the rod 6 to 12 inches past each side of the window so the panels frame the glass and don't block light when fully open.
Do Z Gallerie curtains come in custom sizes?
Yes. Custom window curtains are available in your specified dimensions, fabric, and lining. Custom curtains take longer to ship and can't be returned, so confirm measurements carefully. Standard ready-made panels work for most common window sizes if custom isn't needed.
