About the Artist
Patrick uses realistic depictions of objects found in nature to connect his audience to a greater truth of human relation. In reference to his current projects, Patrick states, “It is my wish that these paintings bring the viewer, as they have brought me, closer to understanding the Self and ultimately to connecting with the cosmic source that links us all. In our frantic search for the Divine, may we remember the fish and revel that we are swimming in It.” Through a precise depiction of life in fantastic proportion, Marston is able to relate the beauty of nature, form, and connectivity of all life. He gives something of things found in nature to portray the realities not visible to the human eye, but to the human soul. |
