The image is generated typically from a high resolution digital scan of the original artwork and printed with archival quality inks. Once the image is printed on canvas, hand-painted enhancements are added. About the Artist
Valentino Bustamonte was born and raised in Southern California. His mother, Antoinette Ferrante Bustamonte, daughter of Italian playwright/actor Guiseppe Ferranite, and his father Bernard Bustamonte, Hispanic rights activist, recognized their son's blossoming art talent at an early age. No piece of paper was safe, be it book endpaper or shopping list pad; all were subject to his artistic urges. Encouraged by his teachers, Bustamonte pursued every artistic opportunity at school and in his community. He ultimately received a scholarship to Art Center School of Design in Pasadena, the nation's premier art institute. For the past 32 years Valentino Bustamonte has been involved in creating fine art in every imaginable style, in both conventional and ground-breaking mediums. He has always challenged himself to be bold in his creations. Bustamonte resides in the High Desert above Los Angeles with his wife and four sons. When he isn't painting, Bustamonte fills his time with family, music and friends.
