About the Artist

Randy Hibberd was born in 1972 in Huntington Beach, California. At the age of 12, his family moved to Phoenix, AZ where he has lived ever since. As a child, Randy was always attracted to drawing, which eventually progressed to painting and expressing his innermost thoughts onto canvas. It was not until after his graduation in 1994 from Arizona State University in Temple that he channeled his full attention into his paintings. As a student, Randy was fascinated by the power of color, and the ability to convey emotion—even without specific imagery. As his paintings have evolved, he is exploring and experimenting, adding more deliberate texture and depth to his pieces.
